Privacy Policy


The Privacy Policy applies to personal information that may be collected when you interact with Entourage Systems, Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and successors and assigns (together referred to herein as "entourageedge.com" or "we"). Protecting the privacy and security of your personal information is a priority at entourageedge.com, and we believe that a single, comprehensive privacy policy that is straightforward and clear is in the best interests of our customers and our businesses.

By doing business with or interacting with entourageedge.com in the manner described in this Privacy Policy at any time on or after the Effective Date, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the application of this Privacy Policy to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of all your personal information as described. You understand that you are also bound by the other policies of entourageedge.com, including the Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined in this policy are defined in the Terms of Use.

entourageedge.com reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we change the Privacy Policy, we will post the change on the entourageedge.com website ("Site"). By continuing to use this Site, you are agreeing to any modification or amendment posted.

1. What information is collected and how is it used?

(a) General. Personal information is information that can be used to identify, contact or locate you. For example, personal information can include your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, or credit card information. The Site and Services (defined below) offered through the Site use forms and sign-ups in which you provide personally identifiable information so you can place orders, request information and support, register and access your account, and participate in interactive forums. We may use such information to provide you products, services and information, contact you about your orders or requests, for marketing, advertisement and customer relationship management, and analysis and improvement of the Site and the services offered through the Site, and to manage and improve our business. We may also use such information for any member program, for administrative purposes, to communicate with you about special offers, promotions, and other marketing programs and news that may be of interest to you.



(b) Purchases. Before you purchase a product or service from the Site ("Service"), you will be required to provide certain personally identifiable information on the entourageedge.com order form or in the purchase process. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and certain financial information such as credit card number and expiration date. entourageedge.com uses this information to provide the Services, confirm your purchases, bill for the Services, monitor, and resolve problems with the Services, and for chargebacks or refunds as applicable. Additionally, we will store in log files user identification when information or notes are uploaded by you to the Site.

(c) Support. entourageedge.com may store information you enter on the Site or give to entourageedge.com by email, telephone, or other communications with the entourageedge.com customer service department or support. If you contact entourageedge.com for support, entourageedge.com will keep an internal record of your account information and the support given. entourageedge.com will use such record to improve the support and Services provided through the entourageedge.com Site, to answer your support questions or to follow-up with you in connection with such support.

2. How do we collect your personal information?
(a) Information that you provide to us. As a general matter, you can browse portions of the Site without submitting your personal information to us. However, there are a number of circumstances in which you may need to provide us with your personal information. The most common of these circumstances include:

  • Making a purchase or placing an order online through our Site
  • Creating an online account, profile or joining an online interactive community
  • Submitting User Content (as defined in the Terms of Use)
  • Signing up for newsletters and other electronic notifications
  • Contacting customer service

(b) Information automatically collected. There are circumstances in which we automatically receive and collect personal information from you. The most common of these circumstances include:

- Log Files. entourageedge.com gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. entourageedge.com uses this information, to analyze trends, to administer the Site, to track users’ movements around the Site and to gather demographic information about the user base as a whole. entourageedge.com also uses information gathered to help diagnose problems with its server, to enforce its terms of use and to improve the Site and your browsing and purchasing experience. entourageedge.com does not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information except with respect to its store, purchases on the Site, and with respect to your storage of notes and uploading other content to the Site.

- Cookies. entourageedge.com may also place a “cookie” on your hard drive during the web visit. A cookie is a unique alphanumeric identifier that is used to help entourageedge.com identify the number of unique visitors to the Site. Cookies allow us to remember information you gave us so that you don't have to reenter it; determine the effectiveness of some of our marketing efforts and communications; and monitor the total number of visitors, pages viewed, and the total number of banners displayed. Most browsers can be set to refuse cookies. If you disable cookies, however, you will not be able to use or participate in certain Site features and Services may not function properly.

- Web Beacons. We may employ web beacons, (also known as pixel tags or clear gif) to help us better manage the Site by providing information about the Site content. Web beacons are tiny, clear graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of visitors on the Site. Unlike cookies, web beacons are not stored on your computer, but are embedded on the pages of the Site. These technologies allow us to know if your e-mail program is able to accept HTML e-mails and, if it is, to: (1) send you e-mails in that format; and (2) determine if you have opened our e-mail messages.

- Other. Occasionally we may receive personal information from business partners, contractors, shared databases, and other third parties.


(c) Third party distributors of banner ads on our websites may also place or access cookies on your computer. Please understand that we do not control these third party cookies, and you should check the privacy policy of the Internet advertising company or advertiser to see whether and how it uses cookies. Whenever you click on links that take you to a third party website, you will be subject to the third party's privacy policies, not ours. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by entourageedge.com.

(d) Information collected from visitors from outside the United States. If you are visiting entourageedge.com from outside the United States and provide us with personal information, you are consenting to the transfer of your personal information to facilities located in the United States and other facility locations selected by entourageedge.com. You understand that data protection laws in the United States may not be as comprehensive as the laws in your country.

(e) entourageedge.com does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our products and services are marketed for and directed towards purchase by adults or with the consent of adults. Individuals under the age of 18 ("Minors") are not permitted to use entourageedge.com's site without the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Furthermore, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register for an online account or to post personal information on our websites. Should we learn that someone under the age of 13 has provided any personal information to or on any of the Site, we will remove that information.

3. With whom do we share your personal information?
Protecting the privacy and security of your personal information is a priority at entourageedge.com. WE DO NOT SELL OR RENT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES.

We may share your personal information with:

- Other entities owned by or affiliated with entourageedge.com

- Service providers, subcontractors and agents who perform services on our behalf. We provide personal information to third party service providers, subcontractors, and agents that work under contract on our behalf to provide certain services. These third parties do not have the right to use personal information we provide to them in any way that is not authorized by entourageedge.com. They are contractually obligated to use such information only as necessary to assist us and to maintain the confidentiality and security of such information.

- Third party providers of products and services. These are third party providers of products and services you may purchase from us. These third parties do not have the right to use personal information we provide to them in any way that is not authorized by entourageedge.com. They are contractually obligated to use such information only as necessary to assist us and to maintain the confidentiality and security of such information.

- Credit Card Companies. Credit card transactions are handled by third party financial institutions and their vendors and contractors who receive credit card numbers and other personal information from us to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions.

- Law enforcement officials and as required by law. We may release personal information to third parties when we determine, in our judgment, that it is necessary to (a) comply with the law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; (b) enforce or apply the terms of any of our policies or user agreements; or (c) protect the rights, property or safety of the Site, our employees, our customers, users, or others.

- Sales, Mergers, and Acquisitions If we become involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of our assets, personal information may be provided to the entities and advisors involved subject to a confidentiality agreement. We will provide notice on the Site before any personal information is finally transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

- Magazine Downloads. In connection with magazine subscriptions purchased on entourageedge.com, in order to complete your transaction, we will need to forward your name, magazine order and shipping address to our subscription providers, currently Libre Digital. The subscriptions provider will share your magazine order information as well as your name and address, or name and e-mail and mailing addresses with the magazine publisher and a magazine circulation auditor. Magazine publishers will use this information to fulfill your order and for other purposes. Your credit card information will not be shared with them.

- Aggregated Data. We may provide aggregated Site statistics and information to third parties, but such aggregated data will not include individual personal information.

4. How do we secure your personal information?
We take significant security measures, including physical, technological and procedural measures, to help to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. In addition, we use technology, such as firewalls and encryption in the transmission of certain sensitive personal information, designed to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your personal information, and, as technology develops, we intend to take additional measures to improve security.

While we are focused on the security of your personal information and follow strict standards, processes and procedures that are designed to protect your personal information, we cannot promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information will remain secure in all circumstances.

5. How do we respect your choices about your personal information?
When you interact with the Site in certain ways, you may be eligible to receive certain marketing-related and promotional communications as well as special offers (collectively "Promotional Communications") that may include advertisements from third parties. We will give you the opportunity to "opt out" of having your personal information used for certain purposes, at the point that this information is collected. For example, if you purchase a Service, but do not desire any additional marketing material from us, you will be able to so indicate on the order form.

If you don't opt out, but later, you wish to no longer receive Promotional Communications from entourageedge.com, you may request information, and will be provided an opt-out link from entourageedge.com.

Even if you opt out of receiving Promotional Communications, you may continue to receive e-mails relating to order confirmations, back order notifications, membership information, and/or other business-related communications.

If you post personal information to the Interactive Community, you understand that other users may see and use your personal information. entourageedge.com is not responsible for any use or misuse of such posted information. entourageedge.com provides you with the ability to access, correct or change the personal information in your community profile(s) at any time. Additionally, by participating in the online interactive community, and using various interactive offerings, you agree to receive communications from entourageedge.com's other users, and moderators related to the provision of these services.
